Behavioural & Experimental Research Network (BERN)
The Behavioural and Experimental Research Network (BERN) is a new research group funded by The University of Sydney's Economics and Business Faculty.
One of BERN's primary roles is to assist develop experimental and behavioural research capabilities and expertise among researchers and students and to provide a forum for research presentations by academics, research students and visitors. RIPS is primarily a collaborative forum of discussion. Constructive feedback will be provided in a warm and supportive environment from the Faculty's leading experts on behavioural and experimental research.
BERN are also responsible for managing a customised research laboratory in the Faculty of Economics and Business facilitating research using behavioural and experimental methods, including computer-assisted and online experiments.
Our Vision
- To be aware of the methods and results of experiments and simulations in business, commerce and academia
- To conduct ethical research having an international impact using experimental and quasi-experimental designs
- To manage a networking hub focused on experiments and simulations for students, industry and academics
